I live in northern illinois and i’m just tired of the cold weather. I don’t have a lot of money but I just need to go somewhere warm. Camping is cheaper than staying at a hotel and I do love nature and away from everyday noise. can someone please give me some input. thanks!
We are going as 3 boys for our gap year (18yrs old- 19yrs old) and we want to know roughly how much we would need to save each.
We were going to buy a cheap car out there to then sell when we finished our trip. We are going to stay in cheap hotels/travel lodges/camp sites.
Also to pay for food and everything we would want to know how much altogether taking all that in mind. We would like to visit some popular attractions as well.
Within the united states, excluding Hawaii. either option at your favorite spot.
I choose camping. More to do.
I am planning a 2 week motorcycle trip on a VFR800 w/ significant other….only 2 small saddle bags. We want to head west and stay away from big sities and traffic. I think 200 or 300 miles per day may be doable……we plan to split camping and hotels.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated….particularly on places/cities/states to visit.
This summer my friends and I want to take a road trip, and I was wondering if it’s legal for a 17 year old to be traveling across the country without a legal guardian. Can I register at hotels or camping sites if I am 17?
I’m going this summer to visit my spouse for about two months. she is stationed in camp humphrey are there hotels on base? or maybe near the base? or would it be cheaper to rent a fully furnished apt, can i even do that.. what would you do if you were in my situation?
we do both, but my daughter votes for a hotel everytime – lol, my Princess.
I am looking for a hotel, motel, or camp area that is close to Alpine Valley Music Theather located in East Troy, WI. I am looking to stay somewhere, but not drive far. Anyone have some Ideas?
