The Big Cheese asked:

Are you the outdoorsy type who loves the morning dew smell from the canvas, while listening to people chinking around making their morning tea, or are you a luxury addict who can’t stand camping and will only sleep on a proper bed, with room service etc?

I vote for the campers. Hi de hi!

mexican doll asked:

We, live in Germany, and my husband is going to get a 4 days off work and he wanted to do something, he wanted to go to Italy to hotel near the beach and then maybe visit venice, but the hotels that i’ve seen dont look like they have much stuff for kids, and the ones that do are way too expensive, so I was thinking that maybe we could go camping theres a beautiful lake 30 min from our house and instead of paying for a hotel we can get a camping stuff, my husband say hell do whatever I want but he doesnt seem very exited about it, our kids are 1yo, 21/2 yo, and 41/2 yo, but they are very good kids and love the lake, theres some sand not like in the beach but they play with it, what should I do?
we wouldnt be camping for the 4 days maybe just one night and and with the days left we can go shoping to the czech republic is only 3 hrs from here.

Indigenous asked:

I’m flying to San Diego to see my boyfriend, who is stationed in Camp Pendleton. The closest airport seems to be San Diego Airport, which is about 40 miles away. That’s an $80 cab fee! Ouch! There has to be a cheaper way to do this! Any advice?

Tom E asked:

Hey, i’m hitching to Morocco through France and Spain next week as part of a charity event. This will involve a lot of travelling on motorways between the main cities. We were thinking of camping if possible; and i was just wondering how many campsites you are likely to find at the side of roads at service stations. I’ve heard that a lot of service stations have campsites on them, but i was just wondering if this is true or not? Also will most service stations have hotels/some where to stay? Thanks!!!!

Where would you say are the best FREE places to go in California?

Where would you say are the best FREE places to go in California?
I live in California and it seems that every place charges a fee, even if you just want to go there to get out of your car and walk around, there is a parking fee. I can understand camping fees, hotel fees, if you want to buy food or water or see a show, but there are limits to me and my willingness to pay, so where do you like to go, where you can pack your own lunch, park and just have a good time and leave?
