I’m going to a lacrosse camp back east and I need to stay in a hotel the night before so that I can get transportation from the camp. Issue is, I’m a minor and my mom can’t get off work to go with me. Is there anyway that I may stay at a hotel if her credit card is making the reservation? Or am I able to make a reservation with my check card?

I went to the V festival just recently… The camping experience was probably the worst experience of my life…I’m thinking about hotelling it next time. anyone else think the same?

Id like to watch the tour in 2007 and see a bit of every stage. Also cycle parts of the course. Does anybody have any advice as far as camping, hotels, renting an RV or car? thanks for any help.

Does anyone know of any travel group that arranges international tours where you stay in youth hostels or camp as opposed to staying in hotels?

I’m from the boondocks so I’m not looking for campsites where you throw a tent and share the space with 300 tourists and pay hotel rates. Looking for more backwoods camping and hiking. Anyone know of any places in the vicinity?

I live in Bristol and know that finding a place to stay can be a major disaster if you dont already have a reservation. Just out of curiosity I wonder how many people come in hopes of scoring a room or lodging when they get here? or does most everyone guarantee they have arrangements prior to race?
ok just for the record .. I work for a hotel 12 miles from the track and we have had some cancelations — have about 10 rooms left $200 plus tax if anyone is still looking I just got in to work and found out about them sshhhhh…lol

We are all in age range of 25-55 and mature enough to not cause any trouble, it seems hard to find accommodation for a large group of men! Any suggestions? Anything from camping to hotels considered.

Are there places to camp? Is it safe? I’ve never been. My husband will back out at the last minute and the tickets are free.. I May be looking for someone to go with me for backup…? Maybe split a hotel room accross the street? Or camp out at the hotel? Any hotel / motel within walking distance… I dont really want to walk alone….
