so me and my sister are going for a road trip this week, and we’re driving down from seattle to califonia. i want to stay in hotels, but she wants to camp atleast one night- my only fear is the bears! just wanted to know if there are a lot of attacks in national parks(like actual camping parks, we wouldn’t sleep in the middle of nowhere) & any precautions to take. if we would camp, it would probably be in oregon or california. should we camp, or just sleep in hotels? PLEASE HELP !!
I’m planning a big trip from my state of Maryland to San Diego, with a side trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain. I’m planning on going with three other friends. By the time we would go, only one of us will be 18. Will it be legal to be in a hotel room? We’ll all be 16 or older though at the time of the trip.
Couch Surfing is when people who do nothing but travel (or live a nomadic life) go to random houses and stay while traveling. It is intended for you to save money. That way, you do not have to rent a hotel or go camping. If you are a couch surfer, then you in turn have to be willing to allow other couch surfers to stay at your place without discrimination. My roommate from college does this. He and his wife signed up for it on the net. Its like a secret society. I think it sounds crazy. What do you all think about it? Having random people request to stay the night at your place. Strangers bringing bugs like roaches and bedbugs into your home. You do not know what kind of personality or insane habits the person that is staying the night at you house has. You do not know if you are going to be staying at a crazy persons house, or if that crazy person is going to be staying the night at yours. Am I the only person that thinks this is nuts?
We’ll be spending approximately 1 month in Zambia in late August/mid-September and I am trying to work out roughly what I should budget for accomodation, transport and food for 2 people travelling together, so I can work out how much I can afford on safari activities. We’re prepared to camp or stay in the cheapest hotels, and eat basic food. This is part of an overland trip from Malawi to South Africa. Many thanks for any assistance. I’d really love to hear from anyone who’s done this!
I’m going on a fishing trip this weekend and I’m planning on Puertecitos, even though I have no clue how the fishing actually is. I’ve been to Bahia de Los Angleles, and that was just too windy, and I’m completely bored of San Felipe. Anyone know anything about Puertecitos or can recommend another good fishing spot this time of year in Baja.
I am looking to take a family of 4 on holiday to Legoland, Windsor and have found many deals with such a wide range of prices i am beginning to get confused and frustrated. Can anyone recommend camping sites? Or hotels?
Any websites with good cheap deals would also be appreciated, im looking for dates mid July
Im going camping with some friends. I have never been camping simply because I stay at the Hilton Hotels while everyone else is in the woods being eaten by gross bugs. Well I was threatend to go camping or my “friends” LOL were going to do something to my new TL. They’re the kind of people that mean what they say. SO what should I bring so Im comfortable and not eaten alive. I must be able to also have my evening cup of hot tea, How would I get the water hot? Please everything helps. By the way, i’m going for 2 nights.
