Ok, we’re vacationing on a budget (about $500) and taking three children ages 8, 3 and 1 and we need some family friendly and budget friendly places to stay along the way. Help is needed especially from people who live in either state, where would you recommend for tent camping and hotels. I’d like to stay in a cabin but I’ve been looking them over and can’t find any cheaper than $130 a night. So if anyone knows of any cabins in good areas that are any cheaper please tell me! Also, wanted to know which activities I shouldn’t miss. It would be easier to stay in a campground that had plenty of daytrip type things we could do nearby.

husband and grandson will be camping in cades cove,tenn in smoky mtns.im not the camping type-can anyone reccomend a cabin for one or a hotel that is located near to the cades cove-loop campground,the boys can camp and i can still get some comfort and a shower.any advice,reccomendations welcomed.i have back problems,my camping days are over! thanx in advance!

I heard that there are a lot of rules after Navy boot camp during liberty and I was wondering if anyone knew what these were? My boyfriend is graduating soon and I was told that they are not able to consume any alcohol, be out of uniform, they need to be back at base by 8-10PM and they are not able to go to a hotel. Can anyone confirm these rules for me and let me know what other rules there may be and if there is a listing of these rules online. Also, what are the rules governing leave. Do those who will be going to Coronado for SEAL BUD/S training have 2 weeks off prior. Thanks.

I used to go camping quite a bit. I had a tent trailer. Loved it. How about you? Do you enjoy camping? Or do you prefer a hotel room with all the benefits?

I’m asking this because in a few weeks I’m going to visit my girlfriend in Boston. And I’m from California, we’ve been together for 3 years now and she visited me last year at my house. But this time I’m going to Boston to visit her. I checked about 10-30 Hotels/Motels around the Boston area and none of them allowed people of my age (18) to register a room. I want the hotels to be close to my arrival at the Boston Greyhound station. Can anyone refer me to a hotel nearby? By the way my girlfriend is 17 will that affect us as well? We only need one night in the hotel. Because we’re going camping the next day in New Jersey. Can anyone help me?

I go to school in Houghton and am looking for a weekend trip to take the girlfriend on. I have half Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday. Just wondering if anybody had any suggestions as to where we should spend the nights. Were up for camping but a hotel/motel would be good the second night. Also I don’t think I want to go more that 200 miles a day, that way here **** won’t get too sore.

We are going to Aberdeen Proving Ground. We plan to go camping some and stay in the hotel some. When will we be able to swim? We have grade school children, anything in specific we should go see besides the White House. We are already planning for that one. Where are the best camping grounds? Is there a place to camp out over night in Chicago in order to catch the Chicago Marathon the next day?
Some friends and I are planning to run the Chicago Marathon this year and would like to camp it out the following day instead of renting out an expensive hotel/motel room.
