I want to go for about a month to 6 weeks….I’ll mix it up between hotels hostels and such…maybe camp a little too.

It will include Ireland, England, France, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and Greece…..and maybe Spain

I plan to do lots of sight seeing..and a little of experiencing the city experience in places like Dublin, Paris, Rome…

I don’t want to blow money the whole trip but i don’t want to have to be meager also…I want to have a lot of fun.

How much money should I expect to spend on a trip like this???

Captain Whiskerboy Litterbox asked:

I am planning a road trip with my fiancee starting in Minneapolis, MN to Arches and Yellowstone National Parks. We have 6 full days for the entire trip (it is over our spring breaks).

We do not want to stay at hotels, but rather we would like to camp along the way in a tent.

We want to do a lot of hiking and sight seeing when we are there.

I’m wondering if it would be possible to camp along the way like this, either at other parks or at public campsites (is there such a thing?). Also, does yellowstone and arches allow camping?

Thank you for any advice and tips you can give to me while we plan this trip! :)

Kevin asked:

My friends and I are going on a road trip later this year, but we want to save money by not going to hotels along the way (and even limiting the number of hostels we visit). Part of the way we can stay at the homes of friends and family, but not the whole way. What I’m wondering is, what are the laws in California, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia regarding sleeping in a car and/or road side camping?

My husband and I want to take a weekend camping trip to the Redwoods in NorCal sometime. Anyone know of any good areas to camp at?

We can settle for a hotel as well, but camping sounds more fun.
