I am visiting a friend nearby Camp Casey. I was stationed there back in 1978-1979. Is it possible to stay there as a civilian? If not, what would I need to do? Thanks

The night before I leave for boot camp I’ll be staying at a hotel. Should I wear the same clothes for those last couple days, or change what do people regularly do.

My best friend and I don’t want to make and keep to a major schedule on our trip. We want to run across gemstones and things and not have to worry about meeting a reservation. So if it is important to make reservations, is there any way to do both?

How do I get ready to use it? Do you only light pilot light when you get to campsite? I see elect & water hookups—what about the sewer drain?
Where is hot water heater? Does water fill some tank inside and do I empty it before I drive home?
I need to know alot, but I am interested in trying to go camping…..always used hotels or condos.

My boyfriend is going to be doing a solo bikeride from L.A. to Chicago to raise money and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer. How can we get hotels to donate a room for a night along the way? He will mostly be camping, but I would love to surprise him with a room here or there as the trip is going to be very difficult.

I was thinking of a wicked camper, but then there is the option of public transport and hostels/hotels

I plan to take a week in getting between the two.
