does anyone know of any travel group that arranges international tours where you stay in youth hostels or camp as opposed to staying in hotels?

I need to plan my honeymoon, but we can’t really afford to go that far. We live in Salt Lake, so that’s out, and camping seems … ill-suited for honeymooning. Also to consider: we **** Park City and also don’t want to be in a hotel where people are camping. That’s tacky. What’s left? Idaho? Southeastern Oregon? Elko?

we’re a couple with no children. we’ll be in Spain by 17th june. departure from Algeciras to reach Barcelona on the 21th june… we’ll take 3 nights-stops in different cities. plz suggestions of cities where we can find cheap accommodation. Thanks

I want to go up to Eagles training camp in July but I’ve never been to that region of PA before (Lehigh University). What are the good hotels to stay at? Are there any nearby camp sites?

What do you prefer ???? On a camping holiday what can you do? (physical activity) ….. up to 10 examples please..

My son is 18 1/2 months and a FABULOUS sleeper. We are going camping for the first time for the summer and was looking for a little input. we own a travel trailer and my son will be sleeping in the pack and play. Last year–he was little enough to just old/rock to sleep and then put in the pack and play. This year is going to be tricky. I want to keep his schedule somewhat normal. I know camping allows for some flexibility though. At home–we do 2 or 3 “nighty night” books and then I lay him down, turn on his music box and he’s set! I’m nervous that this won’t work at camp. It’s going to be a new surrounding, new “bed,” new noises etc. Any advice from anyone who has either camped or traveled with a child this age? How was the transitions from bed to pack and play? Home to camper/tent/hotel room? Any advice is appreciated. I’m hoping he will be good and tired enough to pass out.

ps–Advice about nap-time would be great too. I don’t really wanna skip nap. He gets VERY cranky without it.

i’m visiting a friend in Kin Town Okinawa at camp hansen… i’m looking for a cheap hotel that I can stay at… hope someone can help me out. I’ve tried searching online but all i can seem to find are pricey resort hotels.
Any cheap decent hotel in Naha would be fine too. Well, i’m going on a long weekend so he doesn’t need to file for leave or anything. Thanks, I would really appreciate it if you can get me something affordable in okinawa.

It is legal in camp sites and your home but what about a hotel? Makes sense , right?

I have been saving points from stays @ Sheraton Hotel in Ma. to be able to afford lodging while traveling to a cancer camp in Maine. I was going to redeem them for 2 free nights in Portland. I did this last year and it worked out great. Now I find out that Wyndam(?) bought out the Sheraton Hotel! Now I cant afford the trip! Does anyone know if hotels will honor another hotels program “points”? Im running out of time to figure this one out! Thanks, s.
