Maggie asked:

I’m going on vacation this week. I’ll be in a hotel part of the time, camping the other part. I’d like to try cooking with just my electric kettle part of my meals. I’ll be making instant oatmeal and cup o noodles, but what else can I do? Can I make soup in a can by putting the can in a pot and pouring in boiling water to warm it up? Anyone ever tried that? Also, what kind of kettle do I need to boil water in the mountains over a fire? Do they make special ones?

I want to work in France or Spain next Summer but don’t know what companies are the best to look for work with. I’d love to work as a courier or rep at a hotel or camping resort. Has anyone here worked abroad before? What companies should I try? I’m 18.

Is there anything interesting between Zion National Park and Las Vegas?

Scott E asked:

We’ll be on vacation next week, and have a night reserved camping in Zion on Friday, and reservations at the Mirage in Las Vegas on Sunday. However, we have a gap on Saturday, and I was wondering if there’s any place interesting to spend the night to break up the journey from Zion to Vegas? Do St. George, Hurricane or Springdale have much to offer? Or even something more along the way to Vegas? I think at this point we’re probably not too interested in camping, so staying in a hotel at some town would be nice. Thanks!

So my son will be born in September and we have a trip to havasu planned for the middle of October. Can anyone think of any good reasons to not go? This is my first child and im not sure if bringing a one month old camping is ok. Its not really camping because we’re in a hotel room so i could bring a play pen for him to sleep in. Im mostly worried if a one month old is even old enough to be going camping. There will be quite a few people going but their all family so its the same people he would be exposed to at home. I guess im just worried about germs and all that lol has anyone else taken a one month old camping?
Maybe i worded something funny but i would really LIKE to go :) were actually going there today but i cant go on the sea doos or to the bar so going again soon sounds like a great idea to me lol

Which European tour company should we choose?

queen_bee0042 asked:

My friend and I are trying to plan a trip to Europe this summer. We are both 18, fresh out of high school, and neither of us has ever been to Europe.
We want to go on a 1-2 week tour with people around our age that either stays in the UK (England, Wales, etc) or hits the major cities of Europe (London, Paris, Amsterdam, Venice, etc).
The thing is, we have no idea which tour company to choose! We’ve heard both good and bad things about Topdeck and Contiki, but I have a feeling there are lesser-known companies that would give great and affordable tours.
Also, although we don’t have a ton of money, we’d rather stay away from hostels/camping trips, etc. Hotels would be preferable. If the tour in question includes airfare in the price as well, that would be great.

So our question is, what tour company would you recommend? Is there one you’ve been on that gave you a great experience, or one you would recommend we stay away from? Thanks for the help!
