I am a seasoned rider that does 100+ rides every weekend at an average pace of 20mph. This weekend I am doing a camping overnight (150 miles over 2 days on a flat trail) and got child bike trailer to hold the 25-30 lbs of camping stuff. How much more difficult will this make my ride and will I be able to keep up with the other riders? I have removed everything extra off the trailer so its more aero and lighter. I had no problem doing some practice runs around the house but i don’t want the wrong decision 100 miles out. Should I ditch the camping idea and just hotel it?

going to take a two week road trip through colorado with my family. we are from Texas. some nights we will camp and some nights will be staying in hotels. one of our first stops will be mesa verde. i can’t find a lot of info about camping there. Is it a good place to camp or are we better off hoteling there and camp at some of the other national parks?
I have small kids ages 5 and 7, so that are not much help in carrying gear. If you camp there do you have to walk far from the parking lot to the campsites? Is there shade at the campsites?

Me and a mate are planning on going to Europe for six months and plan to backpack, how much do you think it will cost. We are mainly wanting to camp and maybe some hostels but no luxury hotels.

I am planning a trip to visit my boyfriend who is currently stationed at Camp Hansen in Japan. I am having a really hard time finding nearby hotels. I wont be renting a car. I don’t require top of the line, but I also don’t want to sleep where the local hookers work. Please help. Thanks.

I’d love to go to the Faroe Islands, ideally spending some time camping in the Highlands and Orkneys or Shetlands before heading there by boat. Is camping viable? What is the law regarding it like? Would a B&B or hotel be better?

Also, what is holidaying in the Faroes like, are the locals welcoming to Tourists, is there lots to do? What’s the best way to travel there? If you’ve holidayed in the Faroe Islands I’d be very interested to hear the story of your trip! Thanks in advance

Is it worth going to? Comparisons to maybe, Bonnaroo? Does everyone rent a hotel or are there off site camp sites? Pointers and personal experience is appreciated.

I have NEVER been to the falls, my grandma and folks have but not me. My older sister got married at the Falls but all the younger kids including me were shipped to Summer Camp so I never got to go. Each year the promise to go was made but every year I was told I was too young to go experience the falls and when I was ‘older’ I could go see the falls. Unfortunately I never got to go! Now my mom wants to take me there but the thing holding her back is Do Canadian Citizens need passports to go to the Canadian Falls and does anyone know of any really good pet friendly Hotels that have really good views of the Falls with amenities for the pooches?!
