I’m 18 and I really want to go as a graduation present, but no one wants to go with me. I thought about going by myself, but that seems boring. Would that be a good idea? Also, what are some things to do/see in the park, and would it be better to camp in the park or stay at a hotel? I’ve never been camping. I’m kind of a girly-girl when it comes to like bugs and heat haha But I really love the scenery there. It’s beautiful!
I am planning on going to the Download Festival next year (2010) but would rather not camp. If I mange to get a hotel/b&b in Derby or Nottingham would I be able to get a bus to the festival each day?
I’m looking to spend my spring break at lake havasu. I already found the website with most of the information about hotels and events. But I am trying to figure out how far this is from the events in the water. I’m assuming not too far. But if anyone can reassure me. I am also looking to find camping in the area. I want to get as close as possible. I know this is not in question format, but I want to hear from anyone that has done this or is planning on doing this this year. Thanks.
I am going to attemptt to ride my bicycle from Houston Texas to Downingtown PA in the late summer of 2010. i think that the trip will take about 20 days riding 60-75 mles per day. I have the route, the biggest questions i have are
1) hotels or camping?
2) support vehicle or not
3) how do we get home after the ride.
Do you want to go?
I have a 9 month maltese/poodle who HAS to go camping because we (my family) will be visiting a lot of states including Wyoming and Nevada and Oklahoma. Nobody at home is willing to take care of our dog, so we can’t leave him behind. And also, if you could tell me where a good campsite is in Yellowstone, (that allows dogs) you have a really good chance of getting 10 points!!! (Yes, the Best Answer!!) Also, a bonus question that allows you to have more of a chance to win the Best Answer; do hotels allow small dogs to come with their owners to stay at least one night?
Does ANYBODY know what campsite I should go to that is in Yellowstone and allows dogs? (Also on a leash of course, but that I could always carry???)
We aren’t looking to camp, just a suitable hotel. Suggestions please, and supporting reasons would be great! Also being first timers to Yosemite, any help on the best time of year would be great too!
In August we are travelling by car from Philly to eastern Maine to visit friends. It will be me, my husband, and my 2 boys ages 8 and 6. On the way back home, I’d like to split the trip and drive at least halfway home, then stop for one or two nights somewhere fun. Any suggestions where to stop and specifically where to stay? We are open to anything but don’t feel like packing for camping. Hotels, motels, Family friendly B&B’s, stuff like that…thanx!
