5 star hotel. Gotta have those vending machines and the ice-makers. Oh, and that extra pillow in the drawer.

Depends on the situation. Boyfriend you care about or friends that you hang out with all the time, camping under a billion star sky. Especially with the increase of urbanization, it is getting harder and harder to really appreciate beautiful celestial beings.

on the other hand, if you’re trying to impress, go for the 5 star. You can really take someone’s breath away with money.

personally, i am bit of a romantic and definitely not materialistic, so I’d go with the moonlit starry sky going camping. You know that its quality and isn’t a gold digger involved.

Definitely the five star hotel. Thats how I was raised staying at exensive hotels or if we went camping we had a motor home.

On a one week vacation, I’d camp one night under the stars, the other 5 nights, take me to the 5 star hotel, please.

Every time I go camping, I bring a tent and a hammock. If the weather is agreeing with me, I sleep under the stars. I’d never sleep in a hotel room when I could sleep outdoors.

There’s no room service in the woods. Now I enjoy hiking and the outdoors as much as the next person, but I need somewhere comfortable to chill out at night. Roughing it, for me, is staying at my father-in-law’s house in Northern MN, there is NO A/C, tons of mosquitoes, I have to bring food so there is something decent to eat, you get the idea. Geez, his house is only 7 years old, you’d think he’d have sprung for A/C!!!

I’m an outdoor person. So I would prefer the billion star sky.I like trying to figure out the kind of shapes the stars make and pondering about life under the stars. Its better than being stiffled in the stuffy hotel rooms….

  20. Husker41 - February 27th, 2010 at 4:32 am

I’ve done both. If you’re paying, this time I’ll take the five-star hotel. Find me something in York (UK) for a week, please.

I’d pick camping!!! I **** hotels because I don’t like people serving me. Even in resturants. I’d feel bad, it’s like they’re my slaves. I just can’t enjoy myself while seeing others ‘working’ for me. Being served, room service … and 5 star hotel?? KILL ME!
