The best way to get from the airport to Oceanside is to take the city bus 992 to the Santa Fe Depot (10 minute trip), then take the Coaster train to Oceanside. Sit on the left side and you’ll get a spectacular view of the ocean and coastline along the historic “Surf Line Route.”
There are a bunch of hotels near the Oceanside transit center
