I’ve been with my boyfriend for a few years now. I’m 19 and he’s 20.

I really want to take him camping. I use to go camping heaps when I was younger and always had heaps of fun. My boyfriend has never been camping. When his family go away they always stayed in hotels..

I brought it up and asked him if he wants to go camping and he said ‘it’s not really the sort of thing that I do’. And I said well we can just go to a camping ground first and then we can go real camping. He said ‘I’m not good with the outdoors and stuff’ and I said ‘come on you’ll probably enjoy it and it’ll be just one night’ and he said he’d think about it, so I dropped it.

I live in New Zealand so it’s pretty safe here and there are no crocodiles or snakes or anything scary. It’s also summer here so the weather is still good.

What can I do?
