I’d love to go to the Faroe Islands, ideally spending some time camping in the Highlands and Orkneys or Shetlands before heading there by boat. Is camping viable? What is the law regarding it like? Would a B&B or hotel be better?

Also, what is holidaying in the Faroes like, are the locals welcoming to Tourists, is there lots to do? What’s the best way to travel there? If you’ve holidayed in the Faroe Islands I’d be very interested to hear the story of your trip! Thanks in advance
