Thinking of doing something wild and crazy taking my old Dodge Van I use for 4hr road trips that I use for camping…….
Thinking about going on a LONG road-trip…..From CA- Oregon, to Idaho, and thru Nevada, back to CA.

How many miles to the gallon do you get in your Dodge Van?

My van has a queen size bed, porta potty, curtains, and a/c, everything thing i need, and never have to unpack.

So— should i do it in the VAN??? or rely on the Luxury car and do hotels? I’m looking for a thrill, and think this will be fun for the spouse and dog and me. It’s my idea, so i’m not allowed to complain!

any cool road stops? campgrouds off I 5, and that road that goes from Portland to Idaho??
I plan on showering!!! State Parks have showers. I’m a dry dirt camper, and a hygene freak!!! i change my underware 2x’s a day for those of you who are worried that i might smell!!! sheesh!!!!
how many gallons to the mile?
and I will be going up I 5, not the twisty scenic route, and Hotel/Motel if i want a break from my comfy bed in the van.
