Do anyone know any good fund raising ideas for a church youth group?

Camping Hotels
Moonlight asked:

My youth group and I are planning on going to camp this summer in Florida all the way from Louisiana. The church is going to pay, but we still need to raise money for hotels, gas, food, and anything extra.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The most common form of fund raising is a car wash.

Other options include contacting your local Sonics or other Drive-Up restaurant. Many of them will allow you to deliver the food with the usual staff for tips (either all or a majority of the tips will go to your organization, so don’t forget to tip the actual staff).

You can find a huge list of them in the link below:

Our church youth choir raised over 1000 dollars this fall raking leaves – maybe try a house cleaning service.

One group we met built this large pig out of wood, and would put it on church members’ lawns. The church member would then make a donation to the group to have it removed – very funny!

We have also had successful rummage sales – everyone in the church donates things they want to get rid of, and then there is a huge yard sale and the proceeds go to the group.

Also try bake sales/cookie walks and babysitting or dog walking services
