Help! Can someone please suggest a very nice affordable hotel in NYC (Manhattan) for a family of 4?

Our family consists of 2 adults & 2 children ages 8 & 13. We are in DIRE need of at least a 3-4 star hotel in Manhattan, NY to camp out in for 5 nights max. It has to be somewhat spacious & affordable as well, if possible.

I am well aware the hotels in Manhattan are very pricey, we’ve stayed in one before.

If you have any suggestions, please let me know!

Check out priceline. I got a 4 star hotel for around $130 a night thru them. Downfall, you don’t get to pick hotel (you just get to put how many stars you want) and you have to book what they offer.

The Travel Inn on 45th & 10th (i think)

Only 100 bucks a night. Not bad at all.

You might want to check out the apts/condos listed at HomeAway.com. You’d have more space and a kitchen to save some $$ on breakfast, snacks, etc [and be able to warm up leftovers from your dinners for lunch].

But beware … cheap hotels can be trouble some times so check reviews of the hotel your are going to book.
