Hi
I want to visit the cost of Maine because i want to move there but i don’t want to stay in a hotel ( but i do want see all it has to offer) Right now I’m just overwhelmed with trying to plan my trip.. If any one can give me some pointers or if anyone has some first hand experience about Maine campgrounds it would be much appreciated…THANX

Campground advice. Where to start. Obviously bring a tent. And warm clothes as it’s been getting cold in the mornings lately. Bathing suit, towel, good walking shoes or hiking boots, and a variety of clothing, and a good, warm sleeping bag.
Where to go – Acadia is a really good coastal campground in Maine. You’ll want to call ahead for reservations. You probably won’t get a spot with a view of the water, but it’s within walking or driving distance, depending on where you want to go. Plus Bar Harbor is really nice. Or you can search for campgrounds around towns like Rockland, Boothbay, Kennebunkport, or another town you like the sound of.
