The Youth hostal or a pension hotel.
try, just came back from barcelona and it was great.
It depends where are you going to stay. In big cities, like Madrid or Seville, it is recommended a youth hostel (I don’t know why they say youth if they don’t care about your age). Don’t rent an appartment, it’s so complicated.
If you are going to the Pyrenees or north of Spain, it is recommended to rent a car and send a few night in different campings, because they usually have some bungalows and it’s cheaper too.
Visit the north, quiet and peacefull. I was there and it was phantastic.
