well depending on what hotel you stay at there are lots of bugs, you have to pay to stay at a camp ground like a hotel.

    Ways they are similar:

Both situations are different from being at home.

Both situations may not be the most sanitary environments.

Both may give you insects to have to deal with.

They are the same in that they are both a change of pace from being at home. They can both allow you to enjoy travel, relaxation, connection to other regions and cultures, and concentrated family time.

The differences are about amenities, price, and being waited on vs. do-it-yourself, the amount of exposure to the outdoors and how much you like roughing it.

As a wife and mother, I much prefer something in-between, like rustic bed and breakfasts, cabins, and lodges, where there is electricity, running water, and I don’t have to make the beds, cook, or do the dishes!

    Same:
    They are away from home
Bathroom is or has been used by strangers
    Have to eat out
Can stay just about anywhere in the world
Could be cost efficient (there’s usually a price tag attatched to either.)

That’s about all I can think of sorry

camping is significantly cheaper however the facilities are not as nice. If you don’t like to shower with bugs then you should stay in a hotel.

When you close your eyes they both look the same.

Good question. I was going to say what kind of similarities could there possibly be?????
    similarities
    1. you’re away from the comfort of your own bed
2.you still need to unpack stuff and look for your tooth brush
3.you still have to deal with unfamiliar noises, smells, surroundings
    4. everything is not where you expect it to be. LOL

    Well, let’s see….

In camping, you have your own bed, your own pillow, your own linens. In a hotel, you’re sleeping on stuff that total strangers have used before you.

In camping, the distance to the nearest porcelain is usually a long hike. In a hotel, it’s a short one. AND the porcelain in your hotel room is less likely to be used by thundering hoards of humanity in a single day.

In camping, you’re surrounded by the great outdoors. In a hotel, you’re surrounded by, well…a hotel.

In camping, the ambient temperature is controlled by God. In your hotel room, it’s controlled by a thermostat.

In camping, you could receive uninvited visitors to your site in the form of skunks. In your hotel, the uninvited visitors would more than likely take the form of cockroaches (depending on how many rating stars the hotel has!) Either way, I suppose it’s all wildlife…

Camping: cook your own. Hotel: head for the restaurant.

Clean up after yourself at the campsite! Tip the housekeeping staff at the hotel!

In either case, you’re away from your accustomed sleeping space, which can be tiring, no matter how much Tylenol PM you take.

Either option involves packing and unpacking, and lots of laundry at the end of the trip.

AND either way is getting more expensive every day!

    Hope I helped…
