Why not open a small motorcycle related complex. A motorcycle themed restaurant on one end, a little bar on the other end with a motorcycle consignment shop in the middle. Give people a place to display and sell their bikes, for a small fee. Stock aftermarket parts for all makes, along with t-shirts, helmets, and riding gear. Line up a few scooters in the corner and rent them out. Next to that, put your Biker Hotel that includes a small garage with each room for riders to safely park their bikes during their stay. Add a go-cart track and a game room for the kids. How much money do you have????

Depends on the amount you have to invest. A money making proposition would be a full service truck plaza. Full being the operative word. I am talking many mechanical repairs (no local log trucks and junked out rigs). Over the road distance drivers. Fuel (pumped for them), windshields washed (including headlamps) all lights checked and reported if malfunctioning. SECURE parking for drivers that want a meal or shower, or even just want or need to kill a few hours. An arcade with televisions to watch? Maybe even a motel? A restaurant serving three squares per day and I mean fresh cooked meals.

The one thing that is NEVER offered at any plaza I ever visited? Many times a driver has a death or sickness in the family and has to be called home. He may have to catch a flight back and he has nowhere to leave a truck with a load parked that is secure. How about a couple of acres of locked storage fence and the whole plaza patrolled by security guards (armed). No drugs, no prostitution! That is what the over the road drivers would like. It could also have a camping area or cater to the family type travelers? The biggest thing that would make it successful would be that you offer a place a driver could get rest and not have to worry about his rig or his own personal safety. Many drivers would even PAY to be able to park there for some shut eye and a meal. the big seller is the ability to get a shower after fueling and before a good hot meal.

My plan would be to have a large Rv type camper and Uhaul type trailer.
This i would kit out as part mobile workshop and part bike carrier.
The idea being to sell seats /berths in the camper and seats on bikes then tour.
The bikes would be in a posse traveling down the route making it a life time experience for the riders, then of an evening they would meet up with the camper/ RV where camp had been pitched and a meal cooked; During that time the bikes would get a once over and any scheduled maintenance. Wake up in the morning, group breakfast set up for the day ahead pack up the RV and get it on it's way then enjoy the days ride.
So the bikes do the more scenic route the RV does the more direct route

Check out "Quaker Steak and Lube", if you don't mind opening a franchise, they are kind of cool, specialty is chicken wings. They have a sports bar/motorsport kind of atmosphere (above ground hoists with coool cars on them that area dealers bring in to display, also collector cars, motorcycles hanging by the ceiling, Corvettes attached to the walls, etc). They have Bike Nites and "Cruise Nites" in the summer, you might like running something like that if you have restaurant management experience. Depends on where you are and if you are willing to move. I believe the site is XXXXXX. They have franchise openings. I think it would be a lot of fun to run one.

A place with OEM and aftermarket parts for both metric and US made bikes. Have staff that is knowledgeable in the repair and maintenance of motorcycles, and give those that want to do their own work a chance to do so with a pro staff on hand to back them up if they get into trouble. You could rent them the booth for a fee and if they need a part supply it for them. That way instead of trying to work in a garage somewhere, they could work in a shop with the required tools and a parts section to cut down on the back and forth trips that always seem to happen. Just a thought, not married to it.
