What is the best place to stay in Cornwall (UK) ?

Camping Hotels
Zippy asked:

I would like to go there for a mini break of 3 days over a bank holiday

In terms of things to see, adventure and beautiful views, what would be the best area to go to?

Please let me know whether you would recommend a hotel, self catering or even a camping location..

many thanks

I would say Penzance or Newquay are the best places to stay depending on what you want to see in Cornwall. Penzance is too far if you want to head towards the east of the county. Newquay, I find, is the Blackpool of the south.

Visit for tourist info. Visit for guesthouses.

Head for Penzance – surfing at Sennen Cove – magnificent coast walking around to Lands End.

For real adventure take the Scillonian (ferry) to the Isles of Scilly (but not on a full stomach).
