Camping Hotels

Please help: I need to figure out how to get to pendleton area from the san diego airport. Can the USO help or the base its tself. Im not married just engaged, will they still help me an dhow much will it cost? Any hotels ideas? Any Bus?

ok, so before navy boot camp, i go to the hotel a night before, then i wake up at 4am and go to MEPS. my question is, will i be sitting at MEPS waiting all day long until the bus comes to bring us to the airport?

what sort of weight you carry, and where did you ride. camping or hotels. very interested in your trips.

I’ve walked in on the 4 at home having ***… when we go camping we take an RV, and they shake the whole RV every morning while having ***..*my brothers and i just stare at each other in horror*

and when we stay in hotels on vacations, i’ll be awake, but lying facing away from their bed; and i can hear them having sex, with me RIGHT in the room…

My Fiance is a Marine and I’m going to see him this coming weekend (Memorial Day) We haven’t seen each other in 2 months granted that’s better than the three months of no communication through boot camp but still! His step mom and dad got us a 5 star hotel for our birthday presents…his birthday is the 30th mine is the 5th but I want to surprise him by having the room all decorated for him. I know it seems like this is what the guy should do for the girl, but I want to do something special for him. Any ideas?

Hey, I have been looking around a bit and have decided that camping in Iceland would be really cool and much cheaper than staying at hotels. I have a rough list of things I want to see in Iceland so was wondering if anyone else has camped there and might know some good sites to camp on and any possible addresses/phone numbers. Would be staying there for about ten days at a guess, it doesnt matter how basic it is. All I need is a pitch and some water.
I will be going probably around easter time, fully aware that the weather might be shocking, but have camped a few times in scotland in early winter, should imagine they are about the same conditions at worst, am really just looking for some farmers numbers or a place where i can get the farmers numbers and or cheap camp sites that people have used before.

Thinking of doing something wild and crazy taking my old Dodge Van I use for 4hr road trips that I use for camping…….
Thinking about going on a LONG road-trip…..From CA- Oregon, to Idaho, and thru Nevada, back to CA.

How many miles to the gallon do you get in your Dodge Van?

My van has a queen size bed, porta potty, curtains, and a/c, everything thing i need, and never have to unpack.

So— should i do it in the VAN??? or rely on the Luxury car and do hotels? I’m looking for a thrill, and think this will be fun for the spouse and dog and me. It’s my idea, so i’m not allowed to complain!

I plan on showering!!! State Parks have showers. I’m a dry dirt camper, and a hygene freak!!! i change my underware 2x’s a day for those of you who are worried that i might smell!!! sheesh!!!!

What places do you reccomend for my first time visit? I want to travel to certain places in Alaska where there is Russian heritage. What do you reccomend for lodging, hotels that are not too expensive. Could I bring a tent for camping to save money?

I’m going on vacation this week. I’ll be in a hotel part of the time, camping the other part. I’d like to try cooking with just my electric kettle part of my meals. I’ll be making instant oatmeal and cup o noodles, but what else can I do? Can I make soup in a can by putting the can in a pot and pouring in boiling water to warm it up? Anyone ever tried that? Also, what kind of kettle do I need to boil water in the mountains over a fire? Do they make special ones?
